it's a good code . I am not a coder but i want to to have bigger shapes instead of little points. and try new renderings how can I do that in the code thanks ?

for example in the white >>>> no shapes

grey >>>>>>>> little shapes greyscale

black>>>>>>>>big black shapes

Ich bin noch völlig neu auf dem Gebiet, aber durch mehrmaliges ausprobieren, ist aufgefallen, dass die Links die zu einem "Suchwort" angezeigt werden, immer unterschiedlich sind.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit dies zu steuern und einzustellen, so dass z. B. immer die längsten Artikel angezeigt werden? Für Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar.

um die verschiedenen Parameter zu verändern müsste man wissen welche Codes man benötigt. Es wird erklärt welche Parameter, wofür stehen, allerdings nicht was ich eingeben muss, wenn ich die Parameter verändern will. Bei mir bündeln sich die Bilder zum Beispiel immer in der Mitte des Bildes nachdem ich die Tasten 1, 2, 3 benutzt habe. Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen.

Teh pdf rendering doesn't seem to work…

It says :

recording stopped
isRecording(), or this particular variation of it, is not available with this renderer.

Did I do anything wrong, didn't download a plugin, havn't read the book enough ;)

you're right ... seems to be a bug. we try to fix that asap, in the meanwhile you can use the "complete code package" download (under code, first point) to get the code of the M_4_4_01_TOOL .

leider läßt sich die ZIP-Datei nicht entpacken. Es wird eine cpgz-Datei erstellt.

Anscheinend ist das ZIP kaputt. Könntet Ihr nochmal eine intakte ZIP-File zur Verfügung stellen.

In the code there is this loop:

for (int gridX=0; gridX< tileCountX; gridX++) {   
 for (int gridY=0; gridY< tileCountY; gridY++) {

close before that the current tile count get's calculated

int currentTileCountX = (int) map(mouseX, 0,width, 1,tileCountX);
 

int currentTileCountY = (int) map(mouseY, 0,height, 1,tileCountY);

I think using a loop like this make more sence (else a lot get's drawn outside the screen):

for (int gridX=0; gridX< currentTileCountX; gridX++) {   
 for (int gridY=0; gridY< currentTileCountY; gridY++) {

But then this line must be different:

int index = counter % currentTileCountX; 
 

But i can't figure out what it could be to get nice effect the sketch has with the standard code. So if someone could post a nice solution.

I did like this attemp (there's a left motion and a right motion in it)

for (int gridX=0; gridX< currentTileCountX; gridX++) {         
counter += currentTileCountY % (gridY+1);     
for (int gridY=0; gridY< currentTileCountY; gridY++) {

if someone could post a nice solution then that would be great.

In the code 10 rows are created to show color, however with the current code it will never show more then 9.

This is because height is 800, but the last y row is 799 since it starts at 0 and not at 1.

This seems to be a working fix:

tileCountY = (int) map(mouseY,0,height,2,11);

now it's a lot easier to get the 10th row as well.
